Daubariai mounds

Archeology

It is believed that these mounds were formed by the Lord, who divided the original one large mound into two parts. The larger part of the mound remains on the right bank, and the smaller one on the left bank of Viešetė. Mounds have been used since I thous. pr.me end to I me thous. II sides. they were only a temporary, near former settlement, a hiding place from enemies. For the convenience of visitors, footpaths have been installed around the mounds, and stairs can be climbed to their top. The shores of the hut were connected by a wooden bridge. Benches and an information stand and a parking lot are installed by the mounds.
