Sofia is thirteen years old. Although the girl lacks nothing, she feels lonely and misunderstood. On her birthday, while driving with her mother, she accidentally hits a stray dog. Sofia rushes to his aid, names him Gudrutis and takes him to the vet. It turns out that the four-legged friend needs treatment and should go to a shelter. When her mother strongly opposes the idea of keeping the dog, the girl decides to act independently - secretly takes him out of the institution. With the help of her friend and her older brother, she hides from her parents and shelter workers, who are already following their footsteps. Sofia begins to upload videos of Gudrutis to the Internet, who quickly gains popularity and becomes an Internet star.
