A full-length animated story about the great adventures of the smallest mammals in Europe – the woodpeckers. The story revolves around the legendary Woodpeckers of Prophecy. The inhabitants of the forest share an old prophecy warning about the devastating danger of the dark Enemy threatening all animals. The second part of the prophecy is more hopeful – at a fateful moment, the chosen one, the Woodpeckers of Prophecy, will appear among the woodpeckers. It is he who will fight the Enemy and save the forest and its inhabitants. The biggest problem is that the chosen one is Gudis – an extremely clumsy representative of his species who does not stand out for heroic qualities at all.
