Directed by Henryk Szaro
Journalist Henrikas Bieleckis dreams of a career as a writer, fame and fortune, but he does not have his own work. In order to achieve his goal, he decides to appropriate a novel written by his sick friend Ježys Gurskis.
Bielecki injects a friend with a lethal dose of morphine and publishes the stolen manuscript under his own name. Although the book is a huge success, the man becomes involved in love affairs, breaks off old relationships, and commits new crimes.
