The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Mažeikiai was built in 1930-1936. The author of the project is the interwar Lithuanian architect Vytautas Landsbergis-Žemkalnis, and the artist Rimtas Kalpokas decorated it. The church is marked by the sculpture "Pieta", which is included in the Register of Cultural Heritage Objects of the Republic of Lithuania.
