The project "Sengirės kinas", which combines cinema and environmental protection, invites you to a film screening at the Mažeikiai Henrikas Nagys Public Library. On November 6, at 2:00 p.m., the documentary film "Elements of (Un)balance" will be shown.
A documentary about nature's ability to renew, adapt and survive
From the regenerating forests of Central Europe and floating gardens in Bangladesh to large-scale nature restoration projects in China, the film tells the story of people learning from nature to find ways to revive damaged ecosystems and solve ecological problems. It reveals how natural laws can drive innovation in agriculture, architecture and other fields. The film invites us to rethink our relationship with the environment and seek more sustainable solutions for the future, working with nature, not against it.
"Elements of(f) Balance" (dir. Othmar Schmiderer, 2025, Austria, 98 min.)
The screening is free, and viewers who wish to show their gratitude are invited to support the Sengirė Foundation ( www.sengiresfondas.lt ).
