🔸 The National Lithuanian Library Week will take place from 23 to 29 April 2026. This initiative, organized by the Lithuanian Librarians' Association (LBA) and uniting all libraries in the country, aims to promote reading, invite communities to attend events and join various initiatives, introduce the Lithuanian librarian profession to the public, and also encourage librarians themselves to celebrate their profession.
🔸 Since 2001, the 26th National Lithuanian Library Week has been celebrated, and this year the theme is "Read Between the Lines", inviting you to learn more about librarians' professional commitment to resisting all forms of censorship, supporting the public's freedom to read, and the right to quality and reliable information.
