On June 14, folk songs will be played near the Urvikiai Cultural Center, the scent of summer meadows will be felt, and the sound of scythes will echo.
We invite everyone to a festival filled with traditions and community, during which fun haymaking competitions will be held. Not only strong hands will be needed here, but also team spirit. So sharpen your scythes, prepare your rakes, form teams and come show your dexterity and love for old traditions!
During the event, the folklore group "Ašvija" from the Urvikiai Cultural Center and the folklore ensemble "Volungė" from the Venta Cultural Center will perform, there will be no shortage of festive mood, traditional customs, and hearty feasts.
A special part of the festival is everyone's common goal to weave the longest grass braid and capture an exceptional Lithuanian achievement!
