Giedrė Liaugaudė is a ceramist and folk artist who subtly combines tradition, nature-inspired forms and contemporary aesthetics in her work. Although she is a land management engineer by education, her true creative path led her to clay – a material that allows imagination to run wild. In her ceramic works, the artist seeks harmony between form, colour and texture, creating both decorative and functional items. Her works – vases, bowls, dishes and interior details – are characterized by cosiness, subtle aesthetics and the uniqueness of handmade work. Giedrė is inspired by nature, Lithuanian traditions and the beauty of everyday life in her work. Since 2016, she has been actively participating in fairs, exhibitions and folk art events throughout Lithuania, presenting her works to a wider audience.
