in 2022 written and implemented Mažeikiai Museum project "Restoration of personal belongings of author M. Pečkauskaitė - Shatrija Ragana" The project was financed by the Lithuanian Culture Council, with the contribution of Mažeikiai district. municipality.
The legacy of the writer Marija Pečkauskaitė Shatrija Ragana is preserved in the Mažeikiai Museum, and presented to the public in the structural unit in Židikai. In the exhibition, visitors can clearly familiarize themselves with the restored original furniture on display, which the writer touched: an upholstered bench, a handicraft table, a chair and a writing desk (the projects were financed by the Culture Council and Mažeikiai municipality). There is a whole series of exhibits commemorating the closeness of Marija Pečkauskaitė, the spirit of her works, the coziness and warmth of her close environment. In cooperation with the staff of the Pranas Gudynas Restoration Center of the Lithuanian National Art Museum, the two exhibits most to be restored were selected: a wall clock and a table for flowers, which could not be exhibited due to their poor condition.
Adding them to the exhibition today opened up another side of the writer's life - her love for flowers and the understanding of the fragility of time. The project is dedicated not only to those interested in the writer's life, environment, creativity, cultural and social activities, but to all museum visitors and the Židiki community.
